He also trained in acute care and neurological rehabilitation at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and contributed to research in pressure injury prevention as well as initiatives aimed to support post-stroke recovery.

Luciano has a strong interest in orthopaedics, sport rehabilitation and a growing interest in the management and understanding of pain and chronic conditions. He is passionate about continuing education and is excited to continue to further his skillset. He is currently working toward advanced training in manual therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division and is interested in further developing his expertise in concussion care, as well as acupuncture and dry-needling.

In the clinic, Luciano is passionate about providing patients with a holistic and client-centered approach to care. He blends education, individualized exercise prescription, and hands-on care to create treatment plans that are tailored to each client’s needs and goals. His philosophy is to empower clients to be active participants in their rehab, building confidence and long-term independence.

When he’s not in the clinic, Luciano can often be found outdoors or keeping active. He grew up competing in high-level soccer, and now keeps active through running, weightlifting, and exploring the outdoors with hiking or camping trips. He’s also a fan of live music and a good book.
